Directors,

I am very pleased to invite you to the Fall 2009 OCCDHE Director’s Meeting at The Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach Wednesday, October 7th to Friday October 9th. Every one of us is striving, day after day, to lead our campus in providing high quality, professional, and ethical mental health services in the midst of unprecedented fiscal and clinical chaos. Now, more than ever, we need this time to gather for networking and support! Please join us, as we strategize innovative ways for:

Finding and Fostering Calm amid the Chaos
You will see quickly that our planning has taken our troubled economic times into consideration. First, our conference rate for a luxury room at The Cliffs Resort is only $129.00 per night (must reserve by September 7th). Second, our low registration fee includes dinner and a hosted bar, networking reception Wednesday evening, breakfast and a morning coffee/snack break Thursday and Friday mornings, lunch on Thursday, and up to 7.5 CE hours approved for psychologists by the American Psychological Association and for MFTs and LCSWs by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences. Please see the Meeting Schedule attached for more details.

You are responsible for making your own room reservations at The Cliffs Resort by calling the hotel at (800) 826-7827 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. In order to receive the group rate, you must identify yourself as being with OCCDHE, and your reservations must be made by September 7, 2009, after that date, rooms are subject to availability at best available rates. Please be advised that upon call-in, you will be asked for a deposit of the first night’s room and tax. This deposit is subject to a 72-hour cancellation policy.

The sooner we know you will be joining us, the better able we are to make things ready for our time together, so don’t wait, submit your registration early and save even more!

Early Bird Rate = $170.00 (Must Register and Mail Payment so it is received by September 15, 2009.)

Advance Rate = $175.00 (Must Register and Mail Payment so it is received no later than October 2, 2009.)

On Site Rate = $180.00 (Register and Bring Payment to The Cliff’s.)

Simply click the attached Registration Form to open and fill it out. (You can get the free Adobe Reader 9 at: http://www.adobe.com/go/reader) When you are finished filling in the form, print a copy for your records then click the Submit by Email button on the top right corner of the form to return your registration to my assistant Ellen Patterson. You can also fax your completed form to her attention at (909) 869-6775.
